Inspired by decades of legendary hiking boots, we partnered with Vibram to forge a new path in hiking footwear. The combination of the Vibram SPE midsole and Nisqually outsole gives unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces while providing superior cushioning without the weight. Designed to withstand the climate and terrain of the Pacific Northwest, we utilized a smooth full grain leather upper, PrimaLoft® insulation and Danner Dry waterproof protection. Utilizing flex lines, a split heel and specially formulated Arctic Grip compound, this outsole provides the most advanced traction in wet and icy conditions.
Vibram® Arctic Grip
Specifically designed to perform on wet ice, Vibram® Arctic Grip is made entirely of rubber without any metal components or inserts. This special compound excels in cold, icy or snowy conditions when superior traction is needed most.

Whether on the trail or urban exploring, this last was built to offer enough room for comfort while maintaining a sleek profile. Ortholite footbed included. Please note that if you are in-between sizes, we recommend sizing down a half size for best fit.

Skip the break-in and get right to the adventure. When designing the Mountain 600, we partnered with Vibram® to create a comfortable platform with serious mountain capability. The Vibram® SPE midsole supplies comfort and durability with minimal weight, while the Vibram® Fuga outsole flexes naturally and holds firm across varied terrain with self-adaptive lugs and Vibram Megagrip rubber technology.

Excel in the Elements

After nearly a century of building outdoor boots in the Pacific Northwest, we know a thing or two about keeping out the elements. For the Mountain 600, we selected lightweight-yet-durable leather and suede with high abrasion resistance. We designed the boot to have minimal seams for fewer possible failure points and lined it with our breathable Danner® Dry waterproofing to withstand the wet and stay comfortable in all conditions.
