650 Last
The 650 last offers a sleek, slender profile with a more narrow fit. Boots on this last tend to fit those with a more narrow foot better than those with a wider foot. This ensures a snug fit for terrain and activities that demand support and stability. If you do have a wider foot, we recommend ordering an "EE" (wide) in this style.

Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
  • Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
  • When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Free Return Shipping
Rest assured that if the boot you receive doesn’t fit correctly, we pay for return shipping back to us. You can order with confidence knowing return shipping is always on us.

Comments about Danner Canadian 600G Hunting Boots:

Quite simply the most comfortable, durable pair of boots I have ever bought. I bought these boots for 2 reasons: When I tried them on they were as comfortable as my running shoes(and have remained that way for countless miles of hiking and hunting) and they were American made. After 6 years I have no complaints. I spend a lot of time in some extremely rough terrain and the ankle support on these things is beyond fantastic. Aside from the lower part of the boot being pretty scuffed up, they are in great shape with no tears of the stitching or internal lining. The sole of the boot is soft and offers great traction, but is made to be worn in the woods and not on asphalt or concrete, so keep that in mind. After 6 years of almost constant outdoor use, the soles of my boots are barely worn. The last 3 years around here have been incredibly wet, rainy and snowy. I have had these boots wet, and I mean soaking wet. Through it all, these boots have kept my feet nice and dry. Although not meant to be a winter boot, they will keep your feet warm as long as you are moving around or stationary for short periods. I just wish Danner would make a non-insulated version of these boots because they will get a little warm during spring and summer. Sorry if this review is a little long winded, I just want to make sure I covered everything. Above all, thank you Danner for one hell of a fine, American made boot.

Comments about Danner Canadian 600G Hunting Boots:

After several winters of deer hunting and snow shoveling in single-digit weather, it became clear that my Danner USMC hot-weather boots were not going to keep me comfortable during winter weather.Based on my experience with my USMC boots, I knew I wanted another pair of Danners.I have had very cold feet these past few winters so I looked first at Danner's most insulated boots, the Elk Ridge GTX (1000g), and the Pronghorn GTX (1200g). I really liked what I saw except for one thing: both of those boots were not American made. Sorry, but I will not even consider any products made outside of the USA.I soon found Danner's most insulated American made boots, the Canadian 600g hunting boots.I am a seventeen year-old farm kid who throws hay and shovels snow for eight dollars an hour so I was a little disappointed in the price. Why do I mention this? Because this is partly a message to Danner: I am willing to pay an extra hundred+ dollars AND have half the insulation just to buy American-made products. My boots arrived a few days before deer season began so I had some time to try them on and see how they fit with wool socks. The first thing I noticed was how very large they look. They really do look allot bigger than my USMC boots but that's to be expected with 600 grams of insulation. I followed Danner's recommendation to order the boots a half size larger than I normally would due to the thick socks that I planned to wear with them. If you're considering these boots for yourself and want some extra insulation, I highly recommend that you order them a half size large. It really helps in cold weather. Besides, they fit great with regular socks as well. The first day of deer hunting came, and with it, very cold weather. My new Canadians were warm and quiet on the way to the creek where I hunt. After sitting on the frosty ground for a couple hours I noticed that my feet were starting to cool off a bit. A few hours more and my feet were best described as cold, but not uncomfortable. My feet were not my coldest extremity however. My hands and fingers were numb, and I hadn't worn enough layers on my torso. I believe that if I had dressed with more layers on my torso, my body would have allowed more circulation to reach my feet an hands. The next day, I came back with many extra layers and my feet stayed a little warmer. After that, I tried toe-warmers and that solved everything. It may sound as if the Canadians are not very warm, but let me stress just how cold it was those few days: we had single digit temperatures with biting winds. The last time I went hunting without my Canadians I spent the majority of the time massaging my freezing feet. They'll keep your feet warm if you move around at all. These Canadian boots are more comfortable than any other boot or shoe I've ever worn. They get great traction in the snow and mud, and are very quiet on hard surfaces.I am very satisfied with my purchase and can honestly say that they were worth every penny.Spend the extra money and own the best.

Comments about Danner Canadian 600G Hunting Boots:

My Canadians have been going strong for the past fourteen years. They have been elk hunting, bear hunting, deer hunting, caribou, chukkar and upland, and just about everything else. I bought another pair of Danner's different model, but keep reverting back to these even though very worn. My soles have lost about 1/4 of the nubs, but that is to be expected when hunting chukkar in the rough granite mtns of nevada every year for the past fourteen years. They are worth every penny as any boot that lasts as long as these have passed the test of toughness. My suggestion...spend the money and own the best boot money can buy.

Comments about Danner Canadian 600G Hunting Boots:

An absolutely outstanding boot. I work outdoors in the WV mountains and these boots keep me warm and dry all day. I bought them because they were American made and are one of three pairs of US made Danner boots that I now own. My wife finds it hard to believe when I tell her I'd rather wear these boots than a pair of tennis shoes - they're THAT comfortable, really. The only drawback is their weight, but what can you expect from a tough, insulated boot? If you're looking for a lightweight boot, these are not the ones for you. If weight is no concern, then you'll absolutely love these boots. Good work Danner!

Comments about Danner Canadian 600G Hunting Boots:

Old pair lasted over 11 years of hard service, great support, and adequate traction. New pair have an improved lacing system which hopefully doesn't eat laces like the old ones. I am trying to break in a squeak and hope that it doesn't take long.
