Made in USA with Imported Components
We source the best materials from around the world and utilize some construction work overseas before shipping partially assembled components to be finished in our Portland, Oregon factory. Once in our factory, the boot uppers are formed and the entire bottom of the boot is constructed by hand, giving us greater control over the finished product. This manufacturing process allows us to bring you a less expensive USA made boot without compromising the quality you expect from Danner.
- Fire Resistant Leather Upper
- Chemically treated to be fire resistant, the leather on our Wildland Tactical Firefighter features natural, long-lasting durability.
- Electrical Hazard (EH) Rated
- Built with non-conductive soles to help protect against electrical shock in dry conditions. Meets ASTM F2892 safety standard for plain toe (non-safety toe) footwear electrical hazard (EH) resistance.
- NFPA Certified for EMS
- Certified to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1999:2018 Edition, this footwear meets design and performance requirements for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) by providing resistance to blood-borne pathogens, cuts, punctures, slips, abrasion, corrosion, and flame.
- NFPA Certified for Wildland Firefighting
- Certified to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1977:2022 Edition, these boots meet design and performance requirements for wildland firefighting, including protection from flame, heat, cuts, punctures, slips, abrasion, and corrosion hazards in harsh terrain.
- Mesh Lining
- Lightweight and breathable for total foot comfort.
- Vibram® S587 Fire & Ice outsole
- Ideal for rugged and high-angle terrain with an oil-and slip-resistant compound that still maintains traction in extreme cold and hot environments.
- Oil & Slip Resistant
- Our oil & slip resistant outsoles have been certified to meet OSHA safety standards.
- Extended Sizes
- To accommodate more people, we've made this boot in extended sizes. We recommend women select 1.5 to 2 full sizes down for correct fit.
- WTF Platform Construction
- For optimal rigidity and stability underfoot, we combine a full-length polypropylene board with an integrated steel shank in this construction method.
- How It Fits
- The 851 last is an update to our popular 850 last. This last fits true to size with an athletic and supportive fit while providing ample room in the toe. Offering a specific heel shape that locks the heel in place for better fit and comfort on the back end of the boot, this supportive fit is ideal for those needing high mileage performance from their gear.
- 365-Day Warranty
- If you suspect your purchase isn’t up to our unrelenting standards, or is defective in any way, we want to make things right. We offer a 365-day warranty across our entire footwear and apparel lines.
