- Our top-grain leather is sanded on the outside to give it a slight nap with a velvet-like feel. This leather upper is extremely durable, while offering a shorter and more comfortable break-in period.
- GORE-TEX (GTX) Invisible Fit
- 100% waterproof and breathable, Invisible Fit technology bonds the GORE-TEX membrane to the upper to create the same fit, flexibility and feel as non-protected shoes.
- Removable OrthoLite Footbed
- Multiple layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.
- Danner® EnduroFoam+ Midsole
- Our nitrogen-infused supercritical foam is prized for its rebound, shock absorption and weight-to-performance ratio. The EnduroFoam Plus midsole is thicker and wider for a more cushioned feel while still providing excellent energy return on the trail, to help ease the beginner in and also keep the thru-hiker going for a few extra miles.
- Vibram® Megagrip N45+ Outsole
- Specially formulated for superior wet/dry grip, with a wider Traction Lug platform to boost stability on uneven ground.
- Rock Plate
- Lightweight and supportive, the TPU rock plate provides stability and underfoot protection on rough, uneven terrain.
- Protective Rand
- For increased durability, we've added a polyurethane-coated leather rand for protection against scuffs and abrasions on the heel and forefoot.
- How It Fits
- Inspired from trail running, the DT6 last features an 8mm offset from heel to toe with slightly more width in the forefoot for stability and a good-looking, everyday-wearable aesthetic.
- Recraftable
- Extend the life of your boot with our recrafting services. Please note we are unable to replace the liner on this style due to the more sleek and minimal outsole construction. This boot is eligible for a boot stretch, basic and resole packages. See our Recrafting page.
