Toe Scuff Protection
We carry a couple of products that extend the life of your work boots by protecting the exterior material around the toe. These products are helpful for work that requires a lot of kneeling or is otherwise hard on the toe material of your footwear.
TUFF TOE
USA-made TUFF TOE is a polyurethane adhesive with abrasion, chemical, and water-resistant abilities. It provides long-term protection for the toes of your boots.
Applying TUFF TOE is similar to using a two-part epoxy. It is important that you follow the provided instructions carefully including the preparation of your boots. We also recommend watching TUFF TOE's instructional video before attempting to apply the product to your own boots.
When applying to any boots, particularly those with stitchdown construction (where you can see the stitching that holds the leather to the outsole facing up), it’s important to cover any stitching on the toes with tape during the application process so that no TUFF TOE compound gets on the stitching.

If you have a recraftable style, we may not be able to accept boots that have covered stitching in the TUFF TOE compound.

Boot Saver Toe Guard
USA-made Boot Saver Toe Guards are a solid, rubber composite that adheres to the toe of your boots as an extra layer of abrasion resistance.
It’s important to follow the instructions provided with the Boot Saver Toe Guard product before and during installation. You will need to gently sand the area where the adhesive will be applied to ensure a secure and long-lasting bond.
