Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
  • Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
  • When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Free Return Shipping
Rest assured that if the boot you receive doesn’t fit correctly, we pay for return shipping back to us. You can order with confidence knowing return shipping is always on us.

Comments about Danner Quarry Plain Toe Work Boots:

Im out side every day and on my feet constantly. I work construction in a rural Colorado area so Im usually in the mountains trudging through dirt and mud. I also work in a local lumbar yard and there im asphalt, dirt, and concrete. Overall I like the boot and the style but am disappointed with how quickly they wore out. I really wanted a pair of boots that would last longer than a year. Ive owned vasque and merrell but felt with danners reputation that it would be worth spending the extra money for something that would last longer. So far its been 4 months my soles are pretty worn and they leak. Also one of the liners have rubbed through at the ankle. I really dont think they are worth the 150 bucks to send in and get recrafted when Ive had better luck with boots that cost less and last at least a year. I am hard on shoes boots especially as I wear them 6 or 7 days a week but for 200+ dollars I had hoped for better.

Comments about Danner Quarry Plain Toe Work Boots:

I bought these boots locally, and seem to be working out great so far. I work at a welding/ fabrication shop, and these boots hold up to slag, sparks, etc. well. The treadpattern on these boots is great for working on concrete, unlike the typical vibram lug soles. My only complaints are the fact that they arent the most comfortable boots on long ten hour days, but the problem might be solved with better insoles. Overall great boots for the price, well worth it!

Comments about Danner Quarry Plain Toe Work Boots:

I work outdoors in all types of weather year round for a local Government you name it I step in it (mud, gravel, sedimentation basin runoff , water, dog dung and and a gravel railroad bank that is nearly straight up) on a daily basis. I wore out a pair of Ro*** in less than 9 months and so began my search for a pair of boots that would last longer than a single season… I wanted a pair of boots that would lace up (so that I could get them tight and hopefully prevent rolling an ankle), waterproof, slip resistant, comfortable, and a boot that comes in wide! I tried on tons of boots and tons of brands some of which were very comfortable right from the start. My uncle who has worked in a quarry for 25 plus years advice that a good pair of boots takes time to break in. A pair of boots that's loose from the get go won't be durable in the end. I bought my first pair of Danners two months ago I didn't need steel or synthetic toe and finally decided on the Quarry plain toe boots. I wore them out to the mall a couple of hours and around town for a week or so to get them broke in before wearing them to work. I also got some saddle oil/mink oil to condition them that helped to break them in. (warning conditioning will darken the light leather but I have found that it helps to repel water/dew) I absolutely love these boots and actually prefer them over my tennis shoes. These are a heavy duty pair of work boots (5 lbs) and meet everything I was looking for in a pair of boots! If your own the fence about the price, you pay for what you get and these are worth every penny…
