Pronghorn® GTX® Realtree® AP HD® 1200G Hunting Boots
The Danner Pronghorn® series has been a favorite of hunters for years. We've introduced some key changes while keeping most elements of the classic design. The new Tech-Tuff toe and heel protect the leather and your feet from sharp rocks and other hazards on or off the trail. An improved lacing system and more aggressive outsole were engineered to keep you secure and agile over long distances.

Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Comments about Danner Pronghorn GTX Realtree AP HD 1200G Hunting Boots:
I use Danner boots for Boy Scout Camping, Backpacking, Horse Packing, Fishing, Hunting/Scouting, Shed Hunting, ATVing, and some pair to actually do some work in. "LOL" I find as I am getting older that nothing less than the 1200g will keep my feet warm and was glad Danner came back out with it. (though I still really miss the Grand Slam, best boot you ever put sold.) I wear the 1200g year round with out problem even in summer. Still as someone who owns more than 20 pair of Danner boots, I can tell you they all seem to loose their ability to keep you dry somewhere between 6 months to a year old. I always laugh when I've called and the service tec. tells me it's because my foot is sweating, If that were true why can I hike all day and be dry, yet it rains and I walk through wet grass and my feet get soaking wet? (There is a very real difference between a sweaty foot and a sopping one.) Of course, My problem is I simply LOVE Danner Boots and so I always have several (5 or 6) pair bought ahead. Of course that means when I finally get around to pulling a new pair out of my closet their no longer warranted to be water proof before I even remove them from the box. This is not Danner's problem, just very exasperating. Still, Danner builds the best boot period with no equals. I'll buy another pair or two again this year... Why? Because their the best boot made! And maybe just because I really love the kinds of places my Danner Boots take me.

Comments about Danner Pronghorn GTX Realtree AP HD 1200G Hunting Boots:
I bought these boots for mid to late season stand hunts in Ontario Canada. I wore them three times on round the neighbourhood dog walks in the winter to get them broken in. On the second day one of the eyelets came loose on one of the boots. They are being returned and I am going with another manufacturer.

I have used the boots in late November hunting on Anticosti Island in rain and snow. Stood in treestand at -10c for 6 hours no problem and also walked trails and they felt very comfortable and light.
