Pronghorn 8" Mossy Oak Break-Up 800G

$210.00
|  Style 42286

Born of legends and crafted with the ruggedness of a pronghorn's husk, the speed and stability of its quickest pace, and the weightlessness of its moments in flight, the new Danner Pronghorn® is built to stand the test of time.

The Danner Pronghorn® series has been a favorite of hunters for years. We've introduced some key changes while keeping most elements of the classic design. The new Tech-Tuff toe and heel protect the leather and your feet from sharp rocks and other hazards on or off the trail. An improved lacing system and more aggressive outsole were engineered to keep you secure and agile over long distances.

Boot Details
  • 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® liner is engineered to keep your feet dry and comfortable - even in extreme conditions
  • 800 grams of Thinsulate™ Insulation offer lightweight warmth for those needing protection in cold climates
  • Durable full-grain leather plus breathable 1000 Denier nylon upper for excellent durability and abrasion resistance
  • TERRA FORCE™ X platform provides lightweight, durable traction, heel-to-toe energy transfer, side support to enhance maneuverability, and protection from arch overwork and fatigue.
  • Fatigue Fighter™ footbeds are deeply padded for all day comfort and high-mileage arch support

850 Last
This boot is built on our most popular last, the 850. This last fits true to size with an athletic and supportive fit while providing ample room in the toe. This comfortable, supportive fit is ideal for those needing high mileage performance from their gear.

Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
  • Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
  • When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Free Return Shipping
Rest assured that if the boot you receive doesn’t fit correctly, we pay for return shipping back to us. You can order with confidence knowing return shipping is always on us.

Comments about Danner Pronghorn GTX Mossy Oak Break-Up 800G Hunting Boots:

Second pair I've had. Feet got soaked in both. I thought maybe the first pair was a bunk pair,so I tried another. Feet get soaked just walking through wet grass. I have a similar pair of Danners for work. They also are worthless for keeping your feet dry. I keep them clean and greased good. The boots are very comfortable, and great for dry conditions. However I will never buy another Danner boot I plan to use for hunting or work. Maybe leisure work around the house.

Comments about Danner Pronghorn GTX Mossy Oak Break-Up 800G Hunting Boots:

This is my third pair of Danner's in 15 years. I received wounds to my legs/ankles while in the military and have found Danner's to be the only boot I can wear. I wear them daily, so they get extreme use. I'd have my old ones reworked, but for the difference in cost, I just buy new ones. Great boots for the money! Without Danner's my hunting days would be over.
