Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
  • Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
  • When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Comments about Danner Rampant TFX Non-Metallic Safety Toe 6" Work Boots:

Comfortable boots but after working in them 3 weeks the toe of the boot is completely falling apart. I wore my pronghorn hunting boots for 12 months and still in great shape . Doing the exact same job. Very disappointed . Not like usual danner quality.

Comments about Danner Rampant TFX Non-Metallic Safety Toe 6" Work Boots:

I'm on my feet most of the day on concrete. I had to buy insoles for these boots. I have owned Danners for years now and have been very very happy till this pair. I'm pretty unhappy with these. There just not a great boot.

Comments about Danner Rampant TFX Non-Metallic Safety Toe 6" Work Boots:

I've had these boots 7 months and have wore them full time about 3. I'm an industrial maintenance electrician and mechanic. I've had over 10 pairs of Danner's over the years in everything from low hikers to insulated hunting boots to work boots. I have a pair of insulated Vandals that I just got and love. The last uninsulated pair I had were Instigators (all safety toe) which I adored. I wore the soles flat on the concrete within 10 months and the toe wore through to the toe in 1 year. They have a hiker tread and I thought I'd try something that looked like it would hold up better on the constant concrete surface. I went with the rampant 6". These were the most uncomfortable of any Danners I've ever owned - very un-danner like and surprising to me. The soles are much stiffer than their other mid hieght work danners I've had. Seemed like they just needed to be broke in at first, but the stiffness never went away after the leather conformed. Worse, the cushion seemed to leave the insoles. I work in precarious places, positions, and on concrete or grating surfaces usually. I'm often working from a bent knee position or crouched, and the toes started showing signicant wear the first week. I made a mental note to try not to kneel with them on, but it can't be helped often times in my proffesion. This is not the kevlar or even rubber toe of the past danners I owned - not even close. For the premium price, the comfort and durability should be much better. I'm trying a pair of Kxxns next to compare quality vs. price to these.
