Product Details

Overview

Our most popular work boot – now built in Portland, Ore. We’ve developed a new Vibram Quarry outsole and upgraded the midsole to a single, solid piece for increased longevity. We’ve also updated the collar liner to be instantly comfortable and re-engineered the placement of the triple-stitching to reduce wear and tear over time. Using our universal 610 last, the US-made Quarry has the same fit and feel as its predecessor.

How it Fits

The 610 is our most universal last and can be worn by all foot shapes and sizes. It provides a snug fit through the heel while allowing ample toe room for most versatile fit. This allows more support and side-to-side movement.

I bought the original Quarry in the fall of 2001. I wore them on a 12 mile walk while hunting the first weekend I had them.... I wore them for work and hunting for two years, then they were retired to a few days of work per week and for the past few years simply riding. The soles are worn, the leather is faded, and the stitching holds strong. I can't bring myself to part with them. Best boots I ever owned and I now own several pairs of Danner boots!!!

Everyday all around outdoor use. Seems like they are wearing very well but my feet are soaking wet after walking through wet grass for a half hour. I have been using Obenhauf's on them regularly and it does not help at all. Store told me these were warranted for 1 year and now Danner say no omly 6 months even though they sat in the store for a month or so after I bought them because of a fitment issue. I like to buy American but don't think I will buy Danner ever again as they won't stand behind their product.

Pros

  • Well made in USA

Cons

Great pair of boots. Well made and fit well. The quality is evident at the first glance. They are a bit costly, however time will tell if they hold up as well as they look. So far I am very pleased.
