DLE-01 Last
The DLE-01 last was designed to be an extension of the foot with superior forefoot and heel capture, stability and a more anatomical shape for comfort. The additional space in the toebox allows the foot to naturally react when bearing a heavy load or changing directions laterally in high intensity environments.

Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
  • Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
  • When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Free Return Shipping

I rode my motorcycle in these boots in heavy rain. The sole did not slip. Very comfortable when shifting gears and overall. Defended itself well against the rain but not 100%. This is an attractive and functional boot.

          Every day patrol boots

If you are looking for a good pair of patrol boots, these are it. After wearing these on patrol on city streets, woodland and over a variety of surfaces these were very comfortable and had good grip. There is one caveat, these boots are not water proof. With vent holes near the sole water came in as I went though water in the woods. Having said that they dry out fast and 20 minutes later my feet were dry.

These boots are like high top sneakers and give good support and comfort all shift. The cordura upper breathes well, but if you need a polish able upper you may wish to look at the Gore-Tex version. I like the sole it has good grip and the rounded heal helps with driving. The Vibram sole looks like the old striker sole of which I was a big fan. At the front of the boot is a rubber "bumper" that goes over the toes. I can say that after being in the woods these are a great feature.

The lacing system is different and you can get these boots too tight. The laces near the toe go from traditional metal eyelets to nylon and alternate for the first few eyelets. I find that these hold the foot in place and never felt like my foot might slip out of the boot. This feature also helps in quick turns.

Due to the look of the boot, they also make a good light summer hiker.

This boot also comes with the Danner lace garage. I was skeptical about this, but it actually works. Just tuck the laces in and they stay there for the shift. Of course what I really liked about the laces was that they are para cord.

Overall a good boot and one that seems like a good summer boot for hot days or a hot cruiser.

Very good boot that works well for every day use. Has the look and feel of sport shoe and better tread then most uniform boots. Seems to fit true to size.
