The Hood Winter Light 200 gram hunting boots are perfect for late fall or early winter hunting. Made in the USA and one of Danner’s premier hunting boots, the Hood Winter Light offers features such as GORE-TEX® lining, which provides the ultimate in breathable, waterproof protection. 200 grams of Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation keep you comfortable on cold days. A full-grain leather upper combined with Danner&rsuqo;s stitchdown, construction provides rugged durability. Traction and stability can be trusted with a Vibram® Kletterlift outsole.

	100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® liner is engineered to keep your feet dry, comfortable and never sweaty even in extreme conditions. The microporous structure of the GORE-TEX® makes the boot completely waterproof. Each microscopic pore is 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, which means no external moisture or water can penetrate the membrane. The pores are also 700 times bigger than a water vapor molecule, so perspiration can easily evaporate through and you can stay dry from the inside out.
	For years, many outdoor enthusiasts have selected Thinsulate™ Insulation because of its performance characteristics. Extremely thin and very lightweight, Thinsulate&trade insulation maintains most of its insulating characteristics when wet. The insulation is made up of thousands of tiny microfibers that trap miniscule pockets of insulating air space.
	Integral to the Danner technology family, stitchdown construction provides a wider platform for increased stability. Danner stitchdown boots can be re-soled, adding years of life.

650 Last
Many of our made in the USA boots are built on the 650 last. Boots on this last tend to fit those with a more narrow foot better than those with a wider foot. This ensures a snug fit for terrain and activities that demand support and stability. If you do have a wider foot, we recommend ordering an "EE" (wide) in this style.

Tips for the Perfect Fit

• Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
• Consider the type of socks you\'ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
• When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they\'re the right fit.
