This boot will fit light and comfortably but has tough features like an ultra-durable, oiled nubuc leather and 900 Denier nylon upper, 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining, 1000G Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation, and the Danner Talon dirt- and rock-gripping outsole.

How it Fits

This boot is built on our DT5 last. This last provides an athletic fit designed with a narrower heel and a lower volume fore- and mid- foot to specifically fit the shape of women’s feet. The sleek, streamlined last is excellent for on or off trail hiking.

Women's High Ground 8" Realtree Xtra 1000G Hunting Boots

I went out on my first day of hunting in my new Danners. It rained heavily all day, and my socks did not get wet! I think I'll get the Danner waterproofing, just in case, though. The boots were comfortable (not too heavy!) on a long walk, and my feet were nice and warm, which is really great. Hunting conditions here in Western Montana can get real cold, and I always have issues with my feet not being as warm as they should be. I am pleased with the customer service, free shipping, and warranty as well. I feel that these boots were a wise decision on my part, and I did a lot of research before buying them.
