Warm and comfortable- not waterproof

Comments about Danner Women's High Ground 8" Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity:

I bowhunt, rifle hunt, hike and have a career that puts me in the field on a daily basis. I bought these boots with 1,000 gm insulation, to primarily be worn during the cold hunting months in Montana. This much insulation makes them impossible to wear on a warm/hot day, or my feet roast, but hopefully this means my feet will be toasty in the winter months. They were comfortable right off the bat and did not need to be broken in. However, I wore them in the field for work after a few days of rain. Simply walking through wet vegetation after an hour or so, my feet were SOAKED and cold. Definitely not 100% waterproof. This does not bode well for walking through wet snow this fall, and I am disappointed in the boots because of this.

Not water proof

Comments about Danner Women's High Ground 8" Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity:

I use these boots to hunt. They are light weight and very comfortable but when walking through a field of due cover grass my feet are soaking wet. Almost every morning hunt involves hiking through due cover grass so almost every morning I start out with soaking wet feet. this is not what I would call water proof.

Comments about Danner Women's High Ground 8" Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity:

I have these boots i think they are great for dry/warm conditions while hunting but nothing else my feet have been cold and wet when i thought they where going to keep me warm and dry. They are also coming apart at the seems and i have barley even started hunting in them maybe 4 hunting days hiking and in the weather and they are already coming apart...not happy with the outcome of buying these boots that are suppose to be great hunting boots a total waste of money!!
