Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
  • Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
  • When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Free Return Shipping
Rest assured that if the boot you receive doesn’t fit correctly, we pay for return shipping back to us. You can order with confidence knowing return shipping is always on us.

Comments about Danner Ridgemaster GTX Hunting Boots:

These things are awesome. My first pair of Danner's and man am I impressed. Wore them all deer season, and they are amazing so far. I REALLY hope they last a long time. I can't believe how comfortable they are, how much support they give, and how light they are. I keep telling my wife that I can't believe how great these boots are so far. I don't know how they will hold up over time, but I REALLY hope they last forever!

Comments about Danner Ridgemaster GTX Hunting Boots:

I use these boots as an all around outdoor recreation and sports boot and they work perfectly for that purpose. Hunting, hiking, shooting and plain old camping are made more comfortable in these boots.

I have not had these long enough to comment on weather proofing or long term durability, but they have been great so far.

The design of these boots facilitates fast movements and sure footed movement over all sorts of terrain. Fit is very good and true to size for me (11 EE), I wear medium thickness socks.

I don't believe these are recraftable, but I'd rather have the comfort of this design over the old school stitch down durability.

The tongue is really thick which takes some time to get used to when lacing, but I think this makes the boot warmer. The laces are not great quality IMHO, it'll be interesting to see how long they last. I may try to use 550 cord.

Comments about Danner Ridgemaster GTX Hunting Boots:

Have worn the boots about 3 months now. They breath and stay cool in the AZ summer. Have used them quail hunting in the desert and elk hunting in the mountains. They are light and comfortable but also give great ankle support. Worth every dollar - would definitely buy them again.

Comments about Danner Ridgemaster GTX Hunting Boots:

I use these boots all year round. 4 wheeling, camping, yard work. They are very comfortable and light. Even heading out for the evening I put a fresh coate of polish on them and they look good as new! The only drawbacks to these boots they are not recraftable and the laces. Wich to me are no big deal. I owned a pair of pronghorn GTX that are almost identical and they lasted 5 years.
