Unbelievably Comfortable

By Bruce, in the Middle East

Comments about Rivot TFX 8" Coyote:

I was just getting ready to order another pair of boots, and thought I would comment on the Rivot TFX 8" Tan I purchased last August. I have a tough fit, and sizes vary greatly between manufacturer's so generally, I do not order online. However, I work in the middle east and needed a pair of boots to walk my Project site. Break in was quick, and I ordered a 13 which is usually too large, but these fit like a glove. I am extremely pleased with the fit, comfort and quality of build.

Comments about Rivot TFX 8" Coyote:

I'm an Infantry Officer in the US Army. I used to use Nike SFB's, but even for the price two pairs of Nike's wouldn't last half as long as these. Amazing fit, comfortable, dry incredibly quickly, and are HEAVY duty! Your feet will thank you - buy these today.

Comments about Rivot TFX 8" Coyote:

I have the Ridgemaster boots, which appear to be the predecessor to this set of boots. As a Marine Corps Infantry Veteran and Combat Instructor (ITB SOI WEST), I gotta say, man I wish I had these instead of those RAT boots during my last deployment in Afghanistan and while a Combat Instructor. Fantastic boots, definitely deployable. These should be the new USMC standard.

          Where Ski Boots Meet Moccasins

          By Calvin

          from Phoenix AZ

Comments about Rivot TFX 8" Coyote:

Took these out of the box, went on a 2 day hunt. Then threw them in the truck until the following weekend when I laced them up to go down the Grand Canyon. These boots make you wish they were recraftable.

          Great Boots

          By Motor Daddy

          from TX

Comments about Rivot TFX 8" Coyote:

As a Corocoran fan boy, all of my boots except for my mechanics issue and initial issue have been Corcoran since 2000. That being said I wish I would have tried different brands like Danner and not try to go what others said what looked better. These Rivot TFX's are good looking and very comfortable which means functional especially in hard terrain. This is coming from a 6'4" 255lb mechanic who is up and down on tracks and truck daily and a fractured back. I will give these a secondary review after my first 6 months for durability. So far they are better build quality versus the Belleville. I bought Bellevilles first and before I put them on the sole was falling apart. The Danner TFX's look very well built comparably to their competitors. Good job Danner, if this is the way your boots will be in the future I will be a 100% devoted customer.
