Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Comments about Danner USAF Mens/Womens Temperate Military Boots:
I found out about Danner boots back in 2003. Purchased my first pair of Acadia's non steel toe and also a pair of Steel Toe as well. Loved them from teh minute i put them on. Even got a pair of Ft Lewis ones for winter. After USAF changed to sage green boots I have not enjoyed the boots made from Danner. The sole was changed, the upper was changed and the non steel toe version on the TFX was horrible. I know that a majority USAF personnel are required to wear safety toe at homestation/deployed. I have purchased the I figured they would have kept the same lineup as they did with the Acadia's. Currently wearing a pair of Bellevilles since I have to wear steel toe. Not so happy with Danner and there lack of meeting requirements. Bring back the acadia and or make a safety toe version for this boot as well as a winter boot and winter with safety toe

- Comfortable

Comments about Danner USAF Mens/Womens Temperate Military Boots:
I purchased my boots late 2007. I'm purchasing a new pair today. I had to write a review. I'm very pleased. My boots have held up very nice. Not a single tear, hole. Stitching held up well. The soles are worn down due to wear. Very comfortable even today. I work on the flight line. Miles of walking on concrete. New Mexico, Korea. I have spilled coffee, oil, ect. Cleaned afterward with soap and water. The boots look nice even today. I noticed a month back the heel clicks when I put them on in the morning. They are 3 years old. I'm very happy. Way to Go! Danner
Pros
- No change in color
Cons
- Expensive
Best Uses
- Indoors
Comments about Danner USAF Mens/Womens Temperate Military Boots:
The main thing about these boots is that I've had them about 18 months and they have not changed color at all! Compared to all the other sage green boots out there they last! I wear them everyday and they look just as good as the day I got them. Yes I work indoors, but the same personnel that also work indoors and have other green books, look a mess! Yes more expensive, but worth the money.
Pros
- Lightweight comfortable
Cons
- No pull on loop
- Run a half size too small
- Uppers aren't insulated
Best Uses
Comments about Danner USAF Mens/Womens Temperate Military Boots:
Just got em. Bought a pair from US Patriot Tactical in my normal size and they were a half size too small. Other than that they're great. VERY comfortable. The nose is a little more rounded than I like. Wish they had a pull up loop in the back. They'll get a real test in the Canadian arctic for temp soon. I like them a lot so far.
Pros
- Ankle support
- Comfortable
- durability
- Fit
- Smokin good looks
Cons
- none
Best Uses
- All Weather hiking
- Warm and cold PNW use
Comments about Danner USAF Mens/Womens Temperate Military Boots:
These are by far my favorite boots for all purpose Northwest use. The Gore Tex adds just enough insulation that I am warm to 30 degrees and comfortable at 80 degrees as well. Hot or Cold, Wet or Dry these boots are the BEST!!!
