As a State Trooper in Oklahoma, I have to depend on my footwear for comfort and reliability due to our ever-changing climates; rain today changing to snow tomorrow with hot and humid weather forecast for the day after. I purchased my "Danners" and wore the soles off of them until I had a local cobbler re-sole them. This was a less than satisfactory job as the new soles began to separate. I returned them to be repaired and soon after the separation again occured.
I decided that if you want something done right, you go to the professionals. I packaged my Danner Acadias, and probably included a bit of Oklahoma red dirt, and shipped them to your facility to be recrafted. I just received them and was elated as I opened up the box. The quality and workmanship that went into the repair was obviously a grade (or two) above what I expected. I inspected the repair work and also observed that scars and scuffs in the leather had been buffed to a minimum that certainly prepared them for a high gloss spit shine before they hit the pavement
My hats off to Recrafter Oscar Ricaldai whose card was found inside my boot for the superb work he did on my boots as he will be with me everytime I step out of my patrol unit, and to Danner/LaCrosse for the quality products that you offer to us.

Please commend Robby and Brian Wrakestraw on a fantastic job recrafting my boots. Also, thank you very much for returning them in time for my upcoming hunting trip. You have all exceeded my expectations for service.
I have been an avid hunter for many years. I have a very short list of "essential gear" for hunting. At the top of that list are my Danner boots. They are by and far one of the best hunting purchases I have ever made. Thanks for a solid product and exceptional service.
