Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
  • Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
  • When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Free Return Shipping
Rest assured that if the boot you receive doesn’t fit correctly, we pay for return shipping back to us. You can order with confidence knowing return shipping is always on us.

Comments about Danner Quarry 400G Plain Toe Brown Work Boots:

My old Danners were re-soled seven times, had the welt repaired twice, was patched after I hit it with an axe and were trusted companions for nearly twenty years. This is why I insisted on buying Danners again. After wearing these Quarry for about a year I took them to my cobbler who told me he couldn't resole them. I was stunned. He explained how it has a fiberous mid-sole that he can't work with and showed me where the stitching on my boot was starting to separate and the Gortex liner was ripped. After going over Danner's website, all the "imported" boots have this cheap construction. The "Made in USA" boots have the rugged welt familiar to my old boots. While I spend no less than 14 hours a day in my boots, I didn't expect a major overhaul in this short amount of time. Like me, you are looking at Danner boots because of their reputation and you want an exceptional quality boot. Don't buy into a price-point on a corporate ledger; choose the Rain Forest. Or go to [@]if you want "Made in China"; they will last as long and cost 1/10th the price. I still believe Danners are the best boot on the planet and I will get the Rain Forest, which is the boot I intended to purchase last year; so much for impatience.

Comments about Danner Quarry 400G Plain Toe Brown Work Boots:

I wear these boots everyday for hard work on my feet and really have never experienced a more comfortable work boot that really feels supportive all day long. I've owned Red Wings, and even tried Keen's new Portland Boot - both didn't hold up to the Quarry in durability or comfort.

Comments about Danner Quarry 400G Plain Toe Brown Work Boots:

These boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I was able to wear these out in the field right out of the box.

However from day one, not one but both of these boots leaked water. This was not good as I intended to use them for hunting in snowy environments.

I still find them very comfortable and after 5 years an many many miles these boots have held up perfectly. I can only use them when the weather is dry.

Comments about Danner Quarry 400G Plain Toe Brown Work Boots:

I always wore Danners. Last set was wore out, so I tried these. On flat ground they seemed alright, but just a little bit of incline and they skinned my heels instantly. Doesn't feel like they will last. They are now stricly a flat ground, short use boot. Pretty expensive slippers. I am on the lookout for a new brand now.

Comments about Danner Quarry 400G Plain Toe Brown Work Boots:

I've owned these boots for three years, and they are probably the best boots I've ever had. I use them for deer hunting up here in the Pacific NorthWest in all conditions. I wear them on my ranch for hard work, logging, and just to get around the rough terrain. I need a boot that will support a bad ankle due to an injury sustained from a lesser boot. These boots provide me with the piece of mind knowing that I've got a pair of boots on that will prevent this. Great boots.
