An update on our classic Danner Light, named for the industry that founded our company.
Waxed canvas panels and a full-grain leather upper, set this Danner light apart from its predecessors. We've taken the original silhouette and updated it with new materials and a lightweight Vibram Gumlite outsole. The Danner Light Timber is still built by hand, in our Portland, OR factory, but now with a lighter and softer feeling underfoot.
Danner's 650 EE last offers a roomier fit for relaxed comfort while still offering rugged support and stability. This EE is not as wide as others so it offers the most universal fit for casual, everyday wear. We recommend sizing down a half size for the best fit.

These boots came highly recommended and have proven themselves over and over again! I work outdoors everyday in all weather conditions. It rains a good percentage of the time here in the pacific northwest and these boots crush it! My feet are always dry, always comfortable and I get tons of compliments on them, even after beating them up for months on end.
These boots are great quality, one can see the level of care and craftsman(and woman)ship Danner puts into their boots. Since I could not find these locally, I took the suggestion of the online sizing tool and went with 11.5 when I normally wear a 12. The sizing tool stated that these boots run " a little larger" than some number of compared boots. They are a little too snug in 11.5 and I wish I had returned them to get the 12's. Another reviewer mentioned their boots were too tight until breaking them in, after which they were perfect; my experience has been a bit different.
Other than that, these boots are great! Get em, but get your normal size, not the one the Danner sizing tool suggests.
