Corvallis 5" Brown NMT

Style No. 17602
$170.00

Danner bootmakers build the Corvallis™ by hand. It's the only way to ensure heavy-duty components like the safety toe, leather upper, and GORE-TEX® liner come together in a way that ensures uncompromised quality for the craftsman who wear them.

Overview

The Corvallis offers a rare blend of comfort and ruggedness. Designed specifically for workers who spend long hours on their feet, it provides features typically found on much heavier boots (triple-stitched seams and a non-metallic safety toe, for example). By incorporating advanced materials and weight-saving design, we made the Corvallis feel more like an athletic shoe than work boot.

How it Fits

The 851 last is an update to our popular 850 last. This last fits true to size with an athletic and supportive fit while providing ample room in the toe. Offering a specific heel shape that locks the heel in place for better fit and comfort on the back end of the boot, this supportive fit is ideal for those needing high mileage performance from their gear.

Bought my Danner Corvallis more than a year ago. Was the most cash I'd ever spent on footwear but well worth it. I have used my boots for all kinds of work. Landscaping, Flooring, Tile-setting, Warehouse. Have used them for absolutely everything. They are the greatest boots I've ever owned. I love them so much and sometimes at the end of the day I take my boots off and look at them while thinking "Dang that's a great pair of boots". Next day I can just wipe them down and they come right back to life and look good as new. I love them so much that I just bought my second pair to replace my first pair when they go. Even though my first pair has tons of work life left in them I also like to wear my Danner boots when I am going somewhere public with a nice pair of jeans or pants. So I can be sure that I will always have a pair of these boots around.

I have worn Danners for about 14 years now and the quality and comfort are just going downhill. My last pair of boots the Acadia took a year to finally break in. I just got these work boots because they have a safety toe. I am a welder and wore them to work for the first day today and dropped a small piece of 12gauge steel on the toe. Later when I got home I noticed that the "protective carbon fiber" is peeling away!!!! Also the sturdy looking triple stitching was sliced right open. I also noticed that I bumped up against a piece of metal and ripped the cheap thin leather on the side. For the price I paid for these I should be paid to wear them. Never again will I buy another boot from Danner you have lost a customer.

Comments about Danner Corvallis GTX Non-Metallic Safety Toe Work Boots Brown:

Really no complaints, boots are very comfortable! Boots are about a year and half old, some sole wear and some stitching is finally showing some pulling. Shoes laces are TOP Quality and I never replaced them, still look great. Boots stay dry. I naturally have hot feet so I need to stay with a Gortex breathable product. I work with a lot of chemicals such as Amine which kills cheap soles in it's tracks. Bottom line, I've had Keens but the Amine ate the soles for dinner and the boots were just to dang hot. I will order another pair soon.

Comments about Danner Corvallis GTX Non-Metallic Safety Toe Work Boots Brown:

I'm a chemical applicator for a Co-op so I'm often in wet environments, as well as climbing up and down machinery. The orange arrows on the bottom of the boot started coming off within a month. At 3 months the strings gave up. At 8 months the seam between the boot and sole came apart on one boot rendering it useless. Fertilizer and water could easily get inside it then. No warranty available since it was for work use and was out of the 180 days. Poor quality for a high priced work boot.

I'm on my feet all day in the shop and office area. I bought these because I was tired of replacing boots every 6 months or so so I figured I'd give them a try. I'm so glad I did. They have been the most comfortable pair of work boots I've ever owned. I've had them 7 months and you could never tell. Extremely tough and durable but very comfortable to wear. They are holding up like iron and I work them hard every day. Waterproof and have great traction. I've talked 2 of my associates into buying a pair for themselves and they are just as happy. You really can't go wrong with these boots.
