Quick Overview

Danner bootmakers build the Corvallis™ by hand. It's the only way to ensure heavy-duty components like the available safety toe, leather upper, and GORE-TEX® liner come together in a way that ensures uncompromised quality for the craftsman who wear them.
Details

Inspired by our hikers, proven by our workers.

The Corvallis offers a rare blend of comfort and ruggedness. Designed specifically for workers who spend long hours on their feet, it provides features typically found on much heavier boots (triple-stitched seams and an available non-metallic safety toe, for example). By incorporating advanced materials and weight-saving design, we made the Corvallis feel more like an athletic shoe than work boot.

Full-Grain Leather Upper
To ensure its quality, we put our leather through six different tests before making our selection. Our full-grain leathers are the strongest and most durable form of leather.
GORE-TEX® (GTX)
100% waterproof and breathable, GORE-TEX® liners ensure that no water gets in, while allowing sweat and moisture to get out.
Abrasion Resistant Toe and Heel Cap
A durable, rubber toe and heel cap is added to the high-wear areas of the boot for an extra layer of protection and abrasion resistance.
Electrical Hazard (EH) Protection
Meets or exceeds ASTM F2892-11 EH. Electrical hazard (EH) footwear is manufactured with non-conductive electrical shock resistant soles and heels.
oil and slip resistant
Our oil-and-slip resistant outsoles have been certified to meet OSHA safety standards.
90º heel
Added safety for boots used on steep terrain, climbing in and out of equipment, and use with certain tools.
TERRA FORCE X platform
Provides lightweight, durable traction, heel-to-toe energy transfer, side support to enhance maneuverability, and protection from arch overwork and fatigue.
How It Fits
The 851 last is an update to our popular 850 last. This last fits true to size with an athletic and supportive fit while providing ample room in the toe. Offering a specific heel shape that locks the heel in place for better fit and comfort on the back end of the boot, this supportive fit is ideal for those needing high mileage performance from their gear.

I have utilized my Corvallis boots for 2 years primarily in two arenas: trail building and surgery. The Corvallis performs well in both areas.

Trail building - Corvallis works extraordinarily well for hilly, rocky, slippery(clay soil) terrain. I have put these boots through the ringer and I am very impressed with how they have held up. There are no defects to date which I find amazing considering the environment.

Hospital - I am on my feet for hours at a time while wearing lead in the Cath Lab. The boots provide a nice platform for me and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I have tried everything from high end running shoes to stability walkers in the Cath Lab and nothing comes close to the 'end of the day' comfort my Corvallis boots afford me.

Don't waste your money

These boots are absolute garbage. After approximately 7 months of use the sole is falling apart. It took almost that long to break them in. Do not waste your money on these!

    Comments about Corvallis 5" Brown:

I looked for boots to replace my Steel Toe Wolverines for OVER A YEAR. This boot has ended my search. This boot is simply excellent in every way I can think of. I love the composite toe in the winter time, because my feet stay warm, unlike a steel toe which actually freezes my toes off! And it's GORE TEX, how could it get any better? Well it has a reinforced toe and heel, which is exactly what I need.

    Perfect boot.

    Comments about Corvallis 5" Brown:

I wore this boot 60 hours per week, for an entire year. I have never worn a more comfortable pair of work boots. There is a difference between a good boot and a great boot. This is a GREAT boot. Are these boots a bit pricey? Yes, but perfection does come with a price.
