Brown Boot Dressing
An expert always takes care of his tools because he knows his tools take care of him. Danner boots are no exception and Danner Boot Dressing is the key to maintaining their quality. This premium dressing is formulated to keep brown leather* from drying and cracking and should be used to recondition boots after hard use.
Boot Dressing Compound is water resistant and allows for breathability. This is especially important to GORE-TEX boots, as the waterproof membrane needs to be able to breathe through the leather to work most efficiently.
*For use on full-grain leather only. For nubuc, suede or rough-out leather, try our Waterproofing Spray.

Comments about Danner Brown boot Dressing:
I use the boot dressing on all of my Danner boots and it keeps them looking like new. Keeps the leather nice and supple and helps protect the leather. I found that using my hand and fingers to apply the boot dressing works very well, although I'm sure a cloth would also suffice.
The boot dressing also gets rde of scuffs and scratches in the leather very well. I highly recommend this product!
Pros
- High Quality
Cons
- Expensive

Comments about Danner Brown boot Dressing:
i applied to this boot dressing to my danner elk hunters as per the directions i got from the girl working at the danner retail store in portland and they really made my boots look like new in fact when i showed up and my dad's to go hunting he asked if i got new boots. However, after using the product i saw that it said not to use on nubuc leather which is what i had, i don't know if i damaged my boots or what they seem ok and water beads off em, but i am a little dissapointed that the danner girl told me to use that specific product on my nubuc leather boots but i guess i should haved checked that my self in the first place. it seams to be ok and since if already used it on them i will continue to use it to help waterproof my hunting boots.
Pros
- A little goes a long way
- Easy to apply
- Makes Boots Shine
- Makes Water Bead

Comments about Danner Brown boot Dressing:
The first thing I realized when I first applied the dressing is that you don't need much; a little goes a very long way.
Secondly, I was used to equivalent products and was expecting to apply the dressing with a brush. This is much easier. I agree with another reviewer that an easy way to apply the dressing is with your finger. Then simply wipe away the excess.
When I first had the dressing, I would wipe away the excess with paper towels. I was using way too many paper towels, so I cut up an old t-shirt, and now use that. The best thing about the rag is that it now has a light coating of the dressing. This allows you to quickly apply a light dressing and shine without dabbing on any dressing.
It really keeps the water and snow from being absorbed into my boots.
The only thing that I don't like about the stuff is that pet-hair tends to stick to "dressed boots".
I really like Danner's Dressing and will purchase more soon.

Comments about Danner Brown boot Dressing:
I like the softness of the boot dressing. I've used lots of other boot and shoe polishes. This is the easiest to work with and the results are excellent. Wish I had known of it in 1962-1968 when in the USAF. WAS DANNER'S BOOT DRESSING A "SECRET" IN THOSE DAYS of the hot Cold War?
