Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
  • Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
  • When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Pros

  • Light Weight
  • Waterproof

Cons

  • Didn't like insoles

Best Uses

Comments about Danner USAF TFX GTX Military Boots:

I replaced the insoles with SofSole Athletics. That made these very good boots into great boots. I wore them through last summer and in the big snowfalls we had in the northeast this winter. Waterproof, light, comfortable. Not too hot or cold.

Comments about Danner USAF TFX GTX Military Boots:

I ordered a pair of these over a year ago. I used them at my job and they were great for the first 2-3 months. They started to show a lot of wear after that. They leaked water easily, stitching's were giving way and the outer sole was wearing down exceptionally fast.

I returned them and received a second pair in new condition. I was excited at first. Then after 2-3 months i noticed the same problems occurring all over again.

They were great about the warranty did their part and honored what they said no problem but as for the quality of the this boot I can not say anything positive.

    I Love These Boots!

    Pros

    • Great craftsmanship
    • QUALITY PRODUCT

    Cons

    • Seem narrow

    Best Uses

Comments about Danner USAF TFX GTX Military Boots:

These boots seem to run narrow. I even ordered EE and they are a bit snug - hopefully will loosen up a bit with wear.

I work in the woods all day and these boots seem to take whatever comes at them and my feet stay comfortable.

Comments about Danner USAF TFX GTX Military Boots:

Currently in the USAF so the color is good, but working outside and walking and being on my feet all day makes it hard to find the right boot, now i think i've found the correct boot for the winter, but not good for summer use, they dont breathe easy so my feet got hot quick which is a no go for me. the lace holes are good but the laces themselves are too thick to be required a quicklace, so once i switched out for my old laces on these new boots they were good other than the warmth
