This boot is built on our DT4 last. This last provides an athletic fit with a tighter heel pocket and a wider toe box. The sleek, streamlined last is excellent for on or off trail hiking.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

I am a shop teacher, and needed something dressy and rugged to get me through the day. I also spend a lot of time outdoors, so this is a nice versatile option, with good support and solid grips.
This is my first pair of Danners, and they won't be the last. I am ordering a pair of the same shoe for my father as we speak.

I worn these shoes every day at the office, and out on construction sites. I have ruined other shoes costing more, and in less time. They have taken alot of abuse on muddy, wet, jobsites, and clean up well enough to go right back into the office. I don't agree with Danner's placement of them in hunting? They are tough enough to take into the field; but was the last place I would look for shoes like these. I'll be buying another pair.

I've worn Danner four years, the quality of their boots are good. The price of their boots is over the top. If you want something made in America unfortunately you have to pay for your mother your brother your sister your father your cousin your aunt and anyone else you might've ever slept with. Rent food medical bills not included.

I wear these boots every day. They should be listed as casual wear not hunting. They are true to size and fit just right. no break in period, they are already soft. I will be buying another pair soon enough.
