Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

When I saw these new shoes on-line I just had to call and find out more about them. Luke did an excellent job of helping me with the fit. Danner recommends going down 1/2 size due to the EE width and they were right. I normally wear a 9 1/2 medium and the 9 EE fits perfect. And while they look great with jeans or shorts, I'll be using them on the Sporting Clays course cuz they're so comfortable and durable. Obviously, I'm very pleased with these shoes!

Wow, I didn't know a boot could be so comfortable. These were the first pair of Danner's I have ever tried. I am extremely impressed with the quality and comfort. They just want you to walk in them, and they seem perfectly crafted to do so. I'm assuming it's the sole on these boots specifically, but there is a ridiculousness amount of shock absorption. What is also impressive/shocking is they make absolutely no noise when walking (granted, I only tried these inside on tile and carpet). Ninja boots. Comfortable.
I have to return them because they were a little big, I wear an 8.5 in running shoes and an 8 in dress shoes--a 7.5 would have been perfect.
I live in Florida and wanted to invest in high quality shoes I could keep for a lifetime. These fit the bill but are a little overkill for my lifestyle/area. These boots look like they fit a lumber jack, not a suburban, beach-fairing Floridian. I wish I had an excuse to re-order these in a 7.5...maybe I'll move to Portland.

I am very impressed with these shoes. They are extremely comfortable for wearing on a hiking trail or walking on the street, yet they are built like tanks.
Overall, they are built extremely well and very durable. I bought these a size small than I normally buy, per Danner's recommendation.
