The Telson™ GTX® boot combines athletic performance with support, stability and toughness. The patent-pending EXO™ support system eliminates a heavy, steel shank using a lightweight exoskeleton chassis that provides heel-to-toe comfort while improving flexibility and support. With an integrated GORE-TEX® liner for breathable, waterproof protection, feet stay dry and comfortable in the most demanding environments and situations.

To reduce weight and increase comfort, we’ve eliminated the standard shank system and replaced it with a light, EXO™ skeleton chassis that provides superior support and toe-to-heel flexibility. The result is a boot durable enough to support the Danner badge, but lightweight enough to perform like an athletic shoe.
  • Danner EXO™ Uniform Outsole’s aggressive lug pattern is ideal for urban conditions where the best traction is necessary to nab the bad guy.
  • Full-grain leather can be easily polished and is preferred by those in uniform and on special tactical teams due to its durability and ability to be cleaned quickly.
  • 1000 Denier nylon upper material is extremely resistant to abrasions, tears, and scuffs, improves breathability, and dries quickly.

This boot is built on our most popular last, the 850. Its sleek, low volume profile provides a close, supportive fit while providing ample room in the toe. This comfortable, supportive fit is ideal for those spending all day waiting to bag their trophy.

Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
  • Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
  • When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.
