Made in the USA, the Super Rain Forest™ GTX® boot is a great all purpose workboot that gets the job done. Double thick leather provides for exceptional durability, and the GORE-TEX® lining provides breathable waterproof protection. Stitchdown construction guarantees a wider platform for greater stability and support underfoot.

- Black, full-grain leather is the strongest leather available on a Danner. This leather resists alkali, lime and anything else you’d rather not get on your feet
- Double-thick leather covers the toe box and top of the foot for added protection
- Danner's hand crafted stitchdown construction provides a wider platform for increased stability underfoot. This construction makes the boot recraftable in our Portland factory
- Triple-stitching with hyper-strong thread ensures long lasting durability
- Vibram® 132 Montagna outsole features lugs that are angled to provide substantial support whether ascending and descending. The center lugs combined with the unique Vibram® rubber compound provide maximum traction on wet and dry surfaces

- Meets or exceeds ASTM F2892-11 EH. Electrical hazard (EH) footwear is manufactured with non-conductive electrical shock resistant soles and heels
610 Last
The 610 is our most universal last and can be worn by all foot shapes and sizes. It provides a snug fit through the heel while allowing ample toe room for most versatile fit. This allows more support and side-to-side movement.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

I have had my current pair of Danner Super Rainforest 8" boots for three years now and they are just as good as when I took them out of the box. I absolutely love them. I have only had to replace the laces once, not because they broke, I did it before it came to that. I also use Danner boot dressing on them probably once every two weeks. All in all good job guys, and I look forward to buying another pair in a year or so!!

I owned a pair of Quarrys and have been less than satisfied with them,low quality,wear out quickly,uncomfortable,and more. But then I bought my Super Rain Forest with a steel toe(the boot shop I got them from special orders Super Rain Forest with steel toe). I love them! Very comfortable,good traction,Gore-Tex,good arch support,and Made in USA! I really believe that the problem with my Quarrys is that they are Chinese made. I will NEVER again buy Quarrys,but I am sold on the super Rain Forest!

I live in my boots every waking hour while I am working on trails, and do not get the opportunity to let them dry at home at night while in the woods for a week at a time. I work in extraordinarily wet and abrasive conditions- standing in water and mud all day while rolling boulders around. That being said, This is the most comfortable and waterproof boot I've owned in the last 11 seasons. I had no blisters during the brief break in period. I'll probably kill them with one more season since the stitching is starting to wear after 13 weeks in the woods. I'm surprised they say these run narrow because that is not my experience at all. I found them rather wide and high-volume, actually, and I'm a D width foot(In fact, I had to add a shim to the boot so I could lace them up snug enough without them closing out on me). If Danner can address the exposed stitching, they might get a 5th star out of me. Good boots for trailwork are hard to come by- Danner took a good shot at it with these.

I use these boots for riding my BMW motorcycle, I have had the boots for several years now and just had Danner overhaul the boots after 100,000 miles. I ride in all weather conditions and I have not had cold or hot feet nor have my feet ever gotten wet.
These boots are made in the USA and will most certainly purchase Danner Boots in the future.
