Made in the USA, the Super Rain Forest™ GTX® boot is a great all purpose workboot that gets the job done. Double thick leather provides for exceptional durability, and the GORE-TEX® lining provides breathable waterproof protection. Stitchdown construction guarantees a wider platform for greater stability and support underfoot.

- Black, full-grain leather is the strongest leather available on a Danner. This leather resists alkali, lime and anything else you’d rather not get on your feet
- Danner's hand crafted stitchdown construction provides a wider platform for increased stability underfoot. This construction makes the boot recraftable in our Portland factory
- Double-thick leather covers the toe box and top of the foot for added protection
- Triple-stitching with hyper-strong thread ensures long term durability
- Vibram® 132 Montagna outsole features lugs that are angled to provide substantial support whether ascending and descending. The center lugs combined with the unique Vibram® rubber compound provide maximum traction on wet and dry surfaces

610 Last
The 610 is our most universal last and can be worn by all foot shapes and sizes. It provides a snug fit through the heel while allowing ample toe room for most versatile fit. This allows more support and side-to-side movement.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

I bought these boots two summers ago, they are the best boots I've ever had. I was wearing top of the line Red Wing boots. I had to replace them at least every season, if not twice a season. I work in dirt construction so I'm hard on boots.These boots are so comfortable i wear them on and off the job. They aren't really made for winter use the sole is to hard. I just sent them in to be re-crafted. I got them back in less than two months, they look brand new and ready to rock again. Thanks Danner for a great boot!!

I've worn my SUPER Rainforest boots for about a year, from the Sierras to the Mojave Desert and just about everywhere in between. While they were somewhat squeaky out of the box, my feet did not suffer any discomfort during break-in. Sizing was perfect (rare for me as I have the world's narrowest feet) and once they "broke in" (stopped squeaking) they truly do feel like work gloves. Traction is good in pretty much any terrain, though they do collect some of the stickiest snow/occasional small pebble. No worries about intrusive moisture with the Gore-Tex lining. Best part: AMERICAN MADE. Thank you, Danner people!

I use them for Heavy Construction-Worldwide, and need a reliable comfortable pair of Boots that is durable enough to take on all types of weather and terrain.

I have owned two pair of these boots. I used them working in snow, slush, rain, mud, thickets, dry dusty conditions, you name it. These boots are very well constructed and durable. I got about 24 months out of them before they were no longer waterproof. They DO take some time to break in so don't throw away your old boots immediately. I actually took the footbed out of my last pair and cut the arch support out of it because it was hurting me so bad. I wish they had a wide toe box too. I don't like my toes crushed together. Overall, I'd recommend them because they are well constructed and more importantly, because they are made in USA.

I fell at work from 15 feet up, breaking my ankle. The doctor said it would have been worse without my danners. I made him pull the boot off instead of cutting it off. No way was I going to have my danners destroyed! This boot is amazing! It is simply the best boot I've ever worn, period. I'll never buy any other brand (and I'm having mine recrafted soon).
