I have owned alot of danners and this boot has let me down. I don't know if it's because of made in china or not but after 3 months heel stitching is seperating and have been threw 4 set's of danner laces breaking at lower eyelets. I had danner arcaida's model 22500 prior to this boot that lasted almost three years wearing every day and only went threw one set of laces,wich was my fault, and the laces always stayed tied. maybe it was because they were made in the usa.

I have owned 3 pair of Super Quarry 2 Boots. Unfortunatly the first 2 were poorly stitched and both were returned. The 3rd pair was fraying out of the box and the rework team fixed them on site. I figured that it was a quality control issue and was still willing to give the boot a try. After a month of walking an no hard labor the plastic began to crack along the safety toe exposing the White material underneath. There is no leather underneath the plastic, it does not stretch, and it creases then breaks in a very short time.

I am in the concrete buisness and I wanted the toughest boots I could find. Although, these boots are very comfortable and tough, I did find a weak link in the boot. The leather in the tongue is very thin and it took less than 6 months for the concrete water to eat a hole through the tongue. Maybe you should use something else, like maybe Cordura for the tongue material. Thanks

I have been in the landscaping industry for 16 years. I have owned Georgia, Red Wing, Cat, Wolverine and even Danner Quarry boots. I recently ordered the Danner Super Quarry from a local [...] store[...]I must say, so far these boots are GREAT!! I am usually behind a shovel all day as well as walking 3-5 miles a day. All in a 8-10 hour period. The boots are very comfy, my feet stay dry and cool. I go through a pair of boots a year. I know these boots will last much longer. Much props to Danner for making the PERFECT boot for what I do. I have many co-workers who have or will be ordering these boots[...]
