Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Comments about Danner Striker II GTX Uniform Boots:
I purchased these boots October 2009 for my job as a wildlife officer. I wear these boots ever day I work. The boots worked great until February 2010. Eyelets 3 & 4 from the top started breaking. Now the laces are starting to cut through. My past Danner boots would last two years easy. I got three years out of one pair and they never leaked. I used them hunting and fishing for another two years after their uniform service. These new boots do not hold up. The quality is horrific. I hate saying this about Danner boots but save your money. Do not purchase these boots.

Comments about Danner Striker II GTX Uniform Boots:
I bought these boots on the reputation of Danner and the experiences I have had with Danner boots issued to me in the military. I was very disappointed with these very cheap, non-USA made disasters that began falling apart within a couple of weeks. The plastic eyelets were the first to go. After about four months, the soles began degrading at an alarming rate and simply continued to fall apart. I am a police officer and have found these boots to be comfortable, but a complete waste of money and an embarrassment to Danner. Whoever is responsible to quality control should take note and make a change were needed. Bring back that Made in the USA quality that Danner is known for.

Comments about Danner Striker II GTX Uniform Boots:
The boots should not bare the Danner name. I have had 4 pair over the years and the quality is lacking (Department Issued). The laces break due to the poor eyelets that break and they are far from water proof once they are broke in.

Comments about Danner Striker II GTX Uniform Boots:
After wearing these for less than a month a pair of eyelets broke. I spoke with Danner and they told me to send them in. prior to sending them in I had six more break. I called again and asked them why they went with the plastic eyelets and was informed there were complaints of the metal eyelets setting off metal detectors. I informed the person they should have the option for metal or plastic depending on the job required. I was promptly told that was not cost effective. How's this for cost effective Danner? You will not get more money from me! I believe the plastic eyelets do not stand up to the cold.

Comments about Danner Striker II GTX Uniform Boots:
Ilets broke in the first month of wearing them. The foam around the bottom is wearing out fast. the quailty of the boot has dropped by 75% in just 2 years. I will not get these boots ever again.
