This boot is built on our most popular last, the 850. This last fits true to size with an athletic and supportive fit while providing ample room in the toe. This comfortable, supportive fit is ideal for those needing high mileage performance from their gear.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

I purchased the Romeo for work about a month ago. I am standing/walking for 8-10 hours per shift.
And occasionally work a double shift.
I noticed the gumlite showing wear on the very first shift. The raw edges of the leather cuts into my ankles, unless I wear thick socks. Then the raw edges cut my socks. I will be taking some sand paper to the edges.
I believe the tongue could be 5mm or more less in length for a more comfortable fit and easier entry/exit of the boot.
The footbed does provide good support.
The light weight is a big plus.
The styling is compatable with work or casual dress.
I am glad to not have spent any more than I did for the Romeo Boots.

I am retired, I use the slip-on boot for casual walking and both pair that I've purchased have cracked at the soles. Danner did not acknowledge the design flaw in the sole and did not stand by their product, disappointing.
