Danner's 650 EE last offers a roomier fit for relaxed comfort while still offering rugged support and stability. This EE is not as wide as others so it offers the most universal fit for casual, everyday wear. We recommend sizing down a half size for the best fit.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

soft sole = quicker wear but very comfortable. I barely needed to break it in and I have wide feet. when i first tried them on It felt like walking on a cloud,truly.I own IRISH SETTRERS, CHIPPEWAS,AND RED WINGS. But this broke in the fastest and best for standing work Like machine shop, manufacturing plant "where I work", and any retail store that allows boots. DO NOT WEAR FOR CONSTRUCTION OR OUTDOOR EXCURSIONS. THE SOFT SOLE WILL WEAR VERY FAST. THE BOOT IS BEST ON SMOOTH CONCRETE AND FLAT TERRIAN. Cost is high even for american made. but i spent the money for this boot because it is a one of a kind, no other company make a boot like this one, so yes i will spend the money the next time around for this boot.

I ordered these online based on the EE sizing. While width sizing is somewhat arbitrary, I really feel these are actually a D.
Brannock devices put my feet at 8.5 EE, so these boots should have fit perfectly but they are quite narrow at around the ball of the foot. Measuring the width, to the best of my ability, also suggests they are closer to D according to the reference chart I located, albeit elsewhere since I did not see numerical width measurements provided by Danner
I have to return them, but these boots are nice. Just be aware that they might not be EE.

Very short review here, I have not had a lot of time to wear these yet, but as of now I can not complain what so ever. Very comfortable! The leather is very soft and though it is brown leather, it has a hint of cherry color to it, absolutely love that! The sole is very light and very comfortable. So far they are 5 stars out of 5. As with any danner product you can be assured of the highest quality. And if the product is not right, danner will make it right. Will come back later for a more in dept review. Thanks DANNER!
