The Radical™ 452 GTX® Steel Toe boots are as light as they are tough. While internal and external support structures provide stability and responsiveness, a supportive midsole and sturdy footplate provide comfort. The steel toe meets or exceeds ASTM standard F2413-11 I/75 C/75 EH and increases safety on the job. A GORE-TEX® liner offers waterproof, breathable protection, keeping feet dry all day long.

Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

I wear these boots everyday as a water/wastewater operator. They are truly comfortable right out of the box. They are more comfortable than most of the shoes I own. They are very water resistant...until the sole cracks right across the middle of the sole allowing water to come up into the shoe. FIX THE WEAK SOLES!!!!!! How many bad reviews does Danner need to change this?????

The best boots you'll ever buy! I work on concrete 11 hours a day. I wore tennis shoes for a few days and developed shin splints. After wearing my danner boots about a week, my shin splints are almost gone!!

I have owned 3 pairs of these boots and have had the same problem with all of them. These are the most comfortable boots that I have ever put on my feet, but the outsole wears out way too prematurely. The first two pair that I owned lasted a little over a year before the outsole split across the center. The current pair that I own haven't lasted a whole year. I have other Danner boots that have lasted over 10 years and are still perfectly wearable and comfortable. If these boots had a stitchdown sole that was recraftable, these boots would be a sure thing. Thanks for letting me down, Danner.

I have worn these boots nearly everyday during the last year except on the coldest of days. I am on my second pair. The first pair, the soles wore down to nothing and cracked across the whole thing in just 4 months. Danner took great care of me and sent me a new pair free of charge. I am sending in the second pair as I type this for another replacement (I hope) Still under the one year warranty and two pairs have worn out the exact same way. I hope Danner will take care of me one more time while the original purchase is still under warranty. I do construction so I used these boots under fairly hard conditions but not really bad. The uppers look brand new just the soles are terrible. I compare them to a high performance racing tire that performs great but only lasts one or two races. The boots are awesome except for the premature wear. Unfortunately that is a deal breaker for me. If you were to wear these boots less frequently than I did you might be alright. I love Danner boots and will always buy Danner products. Their morino wool socks are phenomenal! I intend on trying the Vandals next. They are a great design, light weight but they have a vibram sole on them which I believe will wear much better that the Radial.

If it had a more durable sole, it would be the best medium duty work boot out there.
