The 610 is our most universal last and can be worn by all foot shapes and sizes. It provides a snug fit through the heel while allowing ample toe room for most versatile fit. This allows more support and side-to-side movement.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Like it so far, had a pair of RedWings that didn't cut it. They were comfortable but were not warm or waterproof. The more wet and uncomfortable I am on the roof means the more UNSAFE I am on the roof. So far, these boots have lived up to the promise. As far as comfort, these are the best boots I've owned.

I bought a women's model that was made in China. I bought these boots because other co-workers had had a good experience with their Danner boots (their boots lasting 5+ years). I worked in them for about two months. The leather on the toes immediately wore down and the stitching came out in multiple places on both boots. The boots thus lost any water-resistance they once had. I called the Danner returns department and was told that I could send them in with my receipt and they would be repiared or replaced. I did, and received an e-mail stating that they no longer make these boots (I wonder why?!) and that I could have the amount I paid for them credited to a different pair. I bought these boots on sale and either must pay full price for another pair from Danner and trust they won't break down or pay for an entirely different boot. I'm not pleased and expected more from such a highly regarded company. Perhaps it's because these boots are not made in the US. I wouldn't trust every boot that has the "Danner" name on it.

The new Quarry is much improved over it's predecessor. I use for heavy work often in wet conditions, and it has been dry and comfortable. I also have a pair of Sierra's that I absolutely love (and they are built here in Portland, Or).

I can't say enough about the quality of Danner boots. I am a landscaper and wear these boots every day. These boots arre very comfortable, dry, and durable. Mud, rock, stone dust, the most terrible work conditions imaginable can't stop these boots. Keep it up Danner. I'm a costumer for life.
