610 Last
The 610 is our most universal last and can be worn by all foot shapes and sizes. It provides a snug fit through the heel while allowing ample toe room for most versatile fit. This allows more support and side-to-side movement.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.
Free Return Shipping

Comments about Danner Quarry 6" Alloy Toe Brown Work Boots:
Great looking boot, very comfortable, but about 3 months after the warrenty gave out, the stitching around the shoe started to come apart. Near the toes, on the sides, along the heal...Triple stitching is only good, if you actually stitch through both pieces of leather with all 3 stitches (which these were not). Quality and workmanship of these boots leaves me VERY disappointed in Danner.
Pros
- Great Fit
- Well constructed
Cons
- Not made in USA
- Shoelaces
Best Uses
- Work
Comments about Danner Quarry 6" Alloy Toe Brown Work Boots:
I'm an Electro/Mechanical Technican and work most of my day indoors. Lots of walking on a concrete floor so comfort is very important and why I like a 6 inch boot. This is my second pair of Danner boots. Both pairs are repairable and this is important to me. I don't mind spending good money on work boots but to not be able to repair them would be such a waste. These boots feel very comfortable and my feet feel very well protected. Great ankle support and a safety toe give me the confidence to perform my duties at work. Danner was generous with the leather and the eyelets look like harware you'd find on a tank. Double and triple stitching throughout. My only complaint, and it's a petty one, is Danner's choice of lace color. I know they'll dirty up and darken over time but I replaced them with brown ones anyways. No, they're not American made. Danner does offer many styles made in the USA, just not the style I like. Nonetheless, this is a good, solid boot.
Pros
- Aesthetically Pleasing
- Comfortable
- Easy breakin
- Good Fit
- Great soles
- Well constructed
Cons
- Not made in the USA
- Shoe laces
Best Uses
- Work
Comments about Danner Quarry 6" Alloy Toe Brown Work Boots:
I've had my pair for about a month and I really like them so far. They were comfortable right out of the box, but they get more comfortable as the leather softens by the day. I'm extremely hard on boots, especially the toes, so time will tell how they hold up. I wear an 11.5D normally, that's what I ordered and it fits great. Maybe a tad wide if using thin socks, but I'll need that extra width come this winter.
I do not like the laces that come with them. They are way too long, too stiff, and just down right ugly, in my opinion. I replaced them with some KG Extreme kevlar laces and they are much better now. I already had a pair of 72" KG laces, so I used them and had to trim them a little. 63" ones would be a perfect fit.
I would gladly pay more for the same boot if it were made in the USA. But Danner no longer makes a single 6" boot in the USA that is waterproof and has a safety toe, what a shame.
Pros
- Easy to break in
- Extremely rugged
- Made to last
- Sole provides great tract
Cons
- Stiff laces double knot
Best Uses
- All-round work boot
- Heavy construction

Comments about Danner Quarry 6" Alloy Toe Brown Work Boots:
this is my second pair of danner boots. i wore my first pair out and they couldnt be refurbished. i chose a wide because my foot is a little wide. they fit perfect. they are a great boot. the break in period for me was about a week. they are a stiff boot and those first two days were brutal. but after a couple days they were broke in. after i broke them in i actually wore them pheasant hunting in michigan. no issues. daily use will be work boots. i stand in a man lift or wald on concrete 10 hours a day.
