The Danner Pronghorn® series has been a favorite of hunters for years. We've introduced some key changes while keeping most elements of the classic design. The new Tech-Tuff toe and heel protect the leather and your feet from sharp rocks and other hazards on or off the trail. Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Comments about Danner Pronghorn GTX 6" Mossy Oak Break-Up Hunting Boots:
I'd like to find a pair of these that are 100% leather & uninsulated. I'd wear them every day if they made it. It was hard to get used to the fact that you didn't have to break in this boot. Words can't describe how nice of a fit and feel these boots are. You won't be disappointed.
Comments about Danner Pronghorn GTX 6" Mossy Oak Break-Up Hunting Boots:
Due to a genetic deformity in both feet I have to be super selective when buying any type of footwear. I bought these to replace an 18 year old pair of 200g, Fort Lewis Go Devil boots. The first day they were waterproof until I went hip deep in a creek to rescue a fishing pole. I left them out on the back porch overnight to dry. The next day I wore them on a hog hunt that saw us walk a total of eight miles. Steep, rough, wet terrain all the way. Only the surface of the creeks was flat. They dried almost immediately, I didn't slip and they were extremely comfortable.
