Powerline™ Plain Toe 200G Work Boots
The USA-made Powerline™ GTX® boot is a true lineman’s work boot. With an extra-strong steel shank and a reinforced, supportive midsole, it’s built to climb without foot fatigue. The alkali-resistant, fullgrain leather and GORE-TEX® waterproof, breathable liner keep feet dry and protected in the toughest conditions. 200G Thinsulate™ Insulation adds warmth and the double-thick leather protects where wear and tear most often occurs.
Boot Details
- Made in the USA
- 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® liner is engineered to keep your feet dry and comfortable - even in extreme conditions
- Black, full-grain leather is the strongest leather available on a Danner boot. This leather resists alkali, lime and anything else you’d rather not get on your feet
- 200 grams of Thinsulate™ Insulation offer lightweight warmth for those needing protection in cold climates
- Danner's hand crafted stitchdown construction provides a wider platform for increased stability underfoot. This construction makes the boot recraftable in our Portland factory
- Double-thick leather protects the instep of the boot where linemen experience most wear and tear
- Triple stitching ensures added durability
- Vibram® Logger outsole features a lug design with substantial edging capabilities and superior traction
- Extra long steel shank
- 14" height
- 98 oz
- Recraftable
The 18 last is designed specifically for our logger style boots. It offers a sleek, slender profile with a more narrow fit. Boots on this last tend to fit those with a more narrow foot better than those with a wider foot. This ensures a snug fit for terrain and activities that demand support and stability. If you do have a wider foot, we recommend ordering an "EE" (wide) in this style.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.
Free Return Shipping
Rest assured that if the boot you receive doesn’t fit correctly, we pay for return shipping back to us. You can order with confidence knowing return shipping is always on us.

Comments about Danner Powerline Plain Toe 200G Work Boots:
I am a lineman and the last pair of boots I bought feel like there is no shank so if I am up a pole for any time at all my feet kill me!The pair before that were great until the shanks broke!I like my danner boots, but if the next pair are like the last I will demand my money back! Please build me a better climbing boot or I'll be switching to Hoffman's or wesco.I stick up for Danner! The guys I work with won't buy Danner boots because they say the shank does not support there feet.I wrote this review so Mabey the owner of Danner might do a little research and find out why his boots are getting bad reviews from the guys who need a good clmbing boot.I have been a customer of Danner for going on 8 years Mabey someone forgot to put a shank in my boots or mabey the shank just doesn't do the job please build me a better boot!

Comments about Danner Powerline Plain Toe 200G Work Boots:
I've had this boot for almost 3 years and it still is like brand new. Outstanding work boot it doesn't get any better. The only problem is now with power companys wanting all employees to wear some kind of saftey toe which this boot really should offer.

Comments about Danner Powerline Plain Toe 200G Work Boots:
I purchased a pair of Powerlines locally in 2007 and I still own them to this day. They show some heavy wear despite regular washing and oiling. These are the best boots I have ever owned and they are worth every penny. The only things I could ask for with these boots is an optional safety toe feature and optional leather laces.

Comments about Danner Powerline Plain Toe 200G Work Boots:
I've been wearing these boots nearly every day for almost three years, in the garage, on the roof, on bikes and everywhere else I've been on the job or off. Only now are they looking forward to a recrafting, the soles have been worn right through. Absolutely worth every cent, and I still have people stopping me to ask where I got them.
