Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

I really like these boots since I'm a fan of light weight footwear. The only downside I've noticed is the fibers on the exterior get a little frizzy. Nothing a lighter can't take care of. Overall I'm pretty pleased.

- Quick hikes
Comments about Danner Sobo Mid Hiking Boots:
I work for the U.S. Border Patrol and long, rigorous hiking is common in my occupation. The terrain is desert flats to rocky mountains. Hot climate of 100 plus degrees to below freezing with the seasons. Here is my quick review of these boots:
PROS;
Light Weight (very important)
Comfortable with adding insoles
Great for Hot Weather (vents all around)
Easy to lace up
Tough Sole (haven't experienced any cactus/thorns puncturing sole)
Surprisingly Durable (even on rocky mountains)
Value (very reasonable price)
Versatile (wearing them I feel light on my feet opposed to other heavier/higher Danners)
CONS;
Exterior (as mentioned in previous review) becomes frizzy from cactus/thorns
Traction on Under Sole Wears Quickly
NOT for Cold Weather
OVERALL:
Excellent Boot for price, comfort, durability, and for being lightwieght. The exterior does become frizzy, but this is due to the vents needed for the hot weather. There's no way around that. Yet, it does not make the boot less durable. Just makes it look worn faster.
