Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Comments about Danner Mt Defiance GTX Brown Hiking Boots:
I'm a long time Danner boot fan and have REALLY enjoyed every pair of workman GTX, Quarry, and pronghorn boots I've owned over the past 8 years. However, these boots crush my toes! The toe pitches really badly towards the front of the boot and after almost a month, the boot isn't getting more comfortable. I've had to stop wearing them because the blistering is so bad. Not sure what I'm going to do with them but I'm really disappointed.

Comments about Danner Mt Defiance GTX Brown Hiking Boots:
I bought these boots after having read their review in Backpacker Magazine. I wanted a good all-around boot that could be worn while working, hiking in all-weather, and day-to-day. I am in the military and have experienced a variety of boots under a variety of conditions. These are very well constructed and comfortable boots build on a solid platform that provides good stability. I am very pleased with my purchase and believe they are a phenomenal value for the money.
