Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Comments about Danner Mountain Trail Barlow:
After I have had a lot of enjoyment out of my Mountain lights, I decided to get a second pair of Danners and decided on these.
They are roomier than the Mountain lights and do not offer Goretex liners.
But my plan is to use the Mountain lights for tough hikes/birdhunting, etc and use these Mountain Trail Barlows for work, around town and walks in the woods.
I did place a wool insole in the boot to eat up some of the room and it also adds a little warmth.
They are very comfortable and once broken in, almost feel more like a slipper than a rigid hiking boot.

Cons

Comments about Danner Mountain Trail Barlow:
I wear these around town for everyday use and they are very comfortable. They are actually more comfortable and feel lighter than i expected. I was also very impressed with the quality of materials and craftsmanship. I have a couple other pairs of Danners but these are definitely my favorites. I love the color of the Leather and how the different lace colors add to the look.
The only thing I have a hard time with is getting them to lace up tight enough. When i go on hikes i like to have my shoes tight on my foot, and these are hard to get tight. Other than that they are awesome shoes!
