Take our toughest full-grain leather and rip stop nylon, add a polyurethane footbed and a deeply cushioned midsole, and you’ve got the Danner Kinetic™. It’s tough on the outside and soft on the inside. And thanks to its lightweight build, it’s incredibly agile and responsive.

The 1368 last is a sleek, streamlined last that is excellent for light trail, multi-sport and casual use. Provides a running shoe-like fit and ultimate comfort.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

I have owned Danner boots in the past, and I have always thought Danner produced a superior product. Therefore, when I was shopping for light weight boots to wear during the summer as a patrol officer and a SWAT operator, I selected the Kinetic. When the boots were mailed to me, I immediately noticed that there was a lump inside the boots the rubbed against the inner bone of my ankle. Upon closer inspection, the lump comes from where the tounge of the boot attaches to the side of the boots. I thought the boots needed to be broken-in, but the boots continued to irritate the inside bone of my ankle. I examined my other Danner boots and saw that they had a better design for where the tongue of the boot attaches to the side of the boot. I would really like to be able to wear the boot, but the lump is exactly where the inner bone of my ankle sticks out and it is too painful.

Working as a SAC officer for an armor car company I'm constantly in and out of a heavy metal truck for 8-12 hour shifts. Often carrying 50 lbs. beside duty belt, while climbing in out of the truck, means i need boots that have very secure footing.
The harden steel of the trucks floors are very hard on boots and as such breaks down the support and sole of boots quickly. But, celebrating its 12th month, these boots are still in service, and I expect them to be in use for another 12 months.
Something other boots in the same price range that I have owned have not.

I am a 26 year veteran, full time police officer and have worn a variet of brands and styles of boots and these are among the best. I battle with back, leg and feet issues and these boots eliminate the aches and pains. These boots are great for long periods of time on your feet. I am also extremely impressed with how easily they clean up and hold a shine when polished.

I have been on the police department for 19yrs. and I must say this is the best boot I have ever had. I have flat feet but this boot is very comfortable and feels as well as a dress shoe. Thank you Danner for your fine work!

These boots are very comfortable, shine well and are very easy to wash/clean. The down side is that they are noisy as there is a "pop" in the sloe of the right boot that can be felt and heard when walking.
