Precisely crafted with a highly durable nubuc leather, a tear resistant 1000 Denier nylon, an abrasion resistant polyurethane enforced heel and toe cap and an advanced Vibram® 360 Dri Ice outsole, the RAT embodies Danner’s commitment to crafting higher standards.

- Steel safety toe meets or exceeds ASTM standard F2413-11 I/75 C/75 EH. Electrical hazard (EH) footwear is manufactured with non-conductive electrical shock resistant soles and heels.
610 Last
The 610 is our most universal last and can be worn by all foot shapes and sizes. It provides a snug fit through the heel while allowing ample toe room for most versatile fit. This allows more support and side-to-side movement.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Great boot so far. I've had them for a week now and couldn't be happier. I work 12 hours a day on my feet for the railroad walking on gravel and my feet probably feel the best at the end of the day out of all my extremities. It doesn't matter if you were, are, or want to be a marine, anybody who wants a fantastic boot would be happy with this one. BONUS: Made in the USA, keeping jobs in the US,

Ok, here it is. I have owned 10 pairs of other boots from other retailers, (sorry guys i cannot name them), and these RAT Steel Toe Boots are the BEST boots I have ever worn. I work in a Plant that produces Fiberglass Mat for the Roofing Industry so some of the conditions are very abrasive and being in water is a daily thing for me. I am am these Boots 12 to 14 hours every day and have owned them for one year, they are as comfortable now as they were when I first got them. Waterproof...YES, Comfortable... YES, Rugged... YES. The soles are extremely tough as I thought they would need new soles in and year as all my other boots did, but not these Danner RAT Steel Toe Boots. I think in this day and age where we live and a throw away society, it is refreshing to know that these Boots can be recrafted!! Also, all my Marine friends like them. If you want a good comfortable waterproof boot, these are the boots for you!

Wore these on a deployment to Afghanistan. Running through canals, poppy field and various other places on patrol. Never had to worry about them in a firefight. They are the best boot I have ever worn. The Marines absolutely love this boot and it should remain a standard issue from here on out.

I use these boots everyday, in fact i am wearing them right now. I replaced the shoe laces with 100% real 550 military parachute cord, not that civilian made stuff. i cut it open to check the strands and make sure it was authentic. Anyway it was the best upgrade. I put it on all of my shoes because it has many uses. Anyway the boots are very comfortable and i would highly recommend them to anybody who wants a tuff comfortable boot. You will not regret the price.
