Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Comments about Danner Marine Hot Mens/Womens Military Boots:
I had to cut most of the plastic heel support to stop it from cutting my heel. Even after that the boots still tear up my heels especially during humps. Too heavy for runs. Bulky.

Comments about Danner Marine Hot Mens/Womens Military Boots:
The hot weather boots fit VERY differently than the temperate weather boots. The first time I put on a pair of Danners (temperate weather boots) I knew they were different and right. The heel and ankle support was solid. They only grew on me. Didn't bring those boots (too warm) this time and am having trouble with ankle pain related to having pronated feet so I ordered a pair of the hot weather Danners. When I put them on and wore them around for a couple of hours they felt like moon boots or galoshes. Even less support than the other boots I've been wearing and definitely not the Danner-feel I was expecting. They are on the way back to the States to be exchanged for a narrower size (first time in my life) in hopes that will provide the stability I expected. I also went down a half-size in the hot weather boots.

Comments about Danner Marine Hot Mens/Womens Military Boots:
I was in the Corps during the late eighties/early nineties. We had cheap boots. I'm sure the contractors made a lot of money off them. My feet hurt all six years, all over central america, mountains AND beach, jungle and plains. Ive been buying Danner since I got out; the Marine temperate is my favorite- called the company to praise them as soon as the fedex package arrived and they were on my feet. Fit like fine leather gloves; feels like you are walking on air; compliments from the young baristas in my local Chicago starbucks; cant wait to get them up to Alaska, my summer haunt, to hike around.

Comments about Danner Marine Hot Mens/Womens Military Boots:
I am a United State Marine and will never buy another brand of boot. Danners are durable and extremely comfortable especially during humps. Well worth the investment. S/F

Comments about Danner Marine Hot Mens/Womens Military Boots:
So I am on my third pair of these since 2004. I love these boots. I am about to have my older pair recrafted. I have worn these boots in almost every imagineable condition and they always perform. They absolutley blow the issued boots we get out of the water. Deffinately worth the price. To all you Marines out their don't be cheap with your feet. I used to replace my boots every 6 months now I get 2 years out of my danners and they can be recrafted. What else could you ask for in a boot for Marines.
