Our 541 last is inspired from a classic work silhouette. It has a casual fit with a little more room in the toebox and extra width through the forefoot. Full length removable footbed included. Fits true to size.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Beautiful boots that are well made. Long break in which isn't an issue for me but some folks may be turned off by the stiffness at first. The biggest problem is how uncomfortable the foot bed is. The only Danner boots I've worn that hurt as soon as you put them on. Ended up adding some insoles which help a little.

I had high hopes for these boots for general travel.
The break in period is insane. I gave them a solid two months. One month here at home and then on a month long trip to South America.
There is little to no cushion in the soles so it makes for a very hard feel. Aftermarket insoles don't really help.
When the leather finally did break in the soles are now separating from the boot.
I regret purchasing these torture devices for my feet.

These boots are stylish, quality and are flawless but the soles are hard as a rock, I bought these for work but have retired them after just 3 days, these are now my dress or out on the town boots. Have been on the search for some insoles to up the comfort level, have tried Dr Scholls and even Superfeet, neither helped. If you will be on your feet for more than 4 hours at a time these boots arent for you, or atleast not for that purpose.
