The Danner® 453™ GTX® boot combines athletic performance with great stability and traditional Danner toughness. The full-grain nubuc leather and fabric upper provides comfort and rugged durability in varying conditions. The scuff guard on the toe resists abrasions and tears. Waterproof GORE-TEX® lining delivers breathable protection and Danner’s patented TERRA FORCE® support system with Approach TFX™ outsole provides outstanding traction.

This boot is built on our most popular last, the 850. This last fits true to size with an athletic and supportive fit while providing ample room in the toe. This comfortable, supportive fit is ideal for those needing high mileage performance from their gear.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

I live in the middle of nowhere which the weather can be anything at any time, the 453 GTX Hunter gets me where I need to go to do the job and back again with NO concern about my feet! I do not leave the house without My Danner...

I love Danner Boots, I buy lots of them. These boots are great but its like they dont even have gortex in them. In no way are they water proof or even water resistant. I only wear these boots one week a year during hunting. I found out they are not water resistant after the warrenty expired with only one week of use. Too bad these boots tarnish the Danner standard. All my other Danners are perfect.

I bought these boots for hiking and dog training. They fit well. But I also bought them because I thought that they would keep my feet dry. This is not the case. My feet get soaked if there is any dew on the ground. If I have to step in a puddle or cross a shallow stream ( a few inches deep), the water sloshes around in the boot.

wore them for small game hunting wound up with wet feet just from the fall morning dew.they also don't seem to be holding up very well after less than 2 years of light use.
