Our 541 last is inspired from a classic work silhouette. It has a casual fit with a little more room in the toebox and extra width through the forefoot. Full length removable footbed included. Fits true to size.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

My favorite Danner boot by far. Great boot for around town, light hiking, being on your feet for long periods of time, picking up ladies, etc... The Danner Jack is a low-profile boot that starts to look even better once they get worn in. Definitely show their wear, so don't expect them to stay looking like they are straight out of the box. I think they look better the more I wear them. No complaints and might buy another pair so I can have both colors. That's how much I like this boot. Hope to see a black pair in the future.

I love the way this boot looks and had high hopes for it, I bought this boot to where in my wood shop. After a month of break in these boots are still terribly uncomfortable. For instance I had to walk up and down stairs today for around an hour my heals were raw after the fact I had to take the boots off also my feet were soaked from sweat, there is no ventilation so the moisture is a issue. I am on my feet a good part of the day and after I take these boots off I am relieved. These boots have no lining so I would not recommend this boot if you are wearing them all the time. It's a shame I do like this boot but I think Danner should take a look at the internal design and make a liner and insole so this boot is more comfortable. Even if its just "a casual boot" For the price you pay for this boot it should be a turn key product.
