The 650 last offers a sleek, slender profile with a more narrow fit. Boots on this last tend to fit those with a more narrow foot better than those with a wider foot. This ensures a snug fit for terrain and activities that demand support and stability. If you do have a wider foot, we recommend ordering an "EE" (wide) in this style.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
- When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.
Free Return Shipping
Rest assured that if the boot you receive doesn’t fit correctly, we pay for return shipping back to us. You can order with confidence knowing return shipping is always on us.

Comments about Danner Acadia Mens/Womens 400G Uniform Boots:
I got these boots in 2004 while I was serving in Iraq. Due to the 400g Thinsulate and black leather did not get much wear out of them over there. However since returning home in 2005 they have been my go to boots. I wear them to work everyday winter and summer. There is nothing these boots can't handle. I wear them to do everything from hiking, hunting, and fishing to cutting wood, leaf blowing to snow blowing anything and everything I've even played a pick-up game of basketball in these boots. Have had them for 6 years with 5 years of everyday boots the leather, stitching, and original laces are in great condition. Just the MIDDLE of the fore foot on the sole is almost wore flat the rest of the sole is good to go. You can't ask anymore out of an everyday pair of boots for 5 years. I would recommend these boots to absolutely everyone Without a doubt of satisfaction. Going to have them resoled and reconditioned in the spring, so I have them for another five years or more. Good Job Danner Keep up the Great Craftsmanship

Comments about Danner Acadia Mens/Womens 400G Uniform Boots:
I bought these boots about four years ago to wear as everyday uniform boots, and they are still going strong! Although I am thinking about sending them in for recrafting due to general wear and tear, the boots have been very sturdy are holding up very well after four years of use. The 400g of Thinsulate keeps my feet warm even in Northern Minnesota winters, yet I don't have a problem with them being too warm in the summer. One thing though, when placing your order make sure you order the proper width. When I ordered these boots I should have gone with a wider size, so the break-in time for me was longer than it needed to be...other than that they are great boots that I will be wearing for many years.

Comments about Danner Acadia Mens/Womens 400G Uniform Boots:
These are the best boots on earth. I have owned three pairs of Acadia boots, one is ten years old, one is eight and I just bought a brand new pair today. The oldest pair just needs to be resoled, I have put these through hell. If you job or lifestyle requires you to be deadly serious about your feet and kit, buy Danners. You will not be sorry, period.

Comments about Danner Acadia Mens/Womens 400G Uniform Boots:
I was issued these boots while working in Naval Special Warfare (SEAL Teams) in 2004. The day after I was issued these boots there was as hard downpour, and after hopping out of a truck I landed in a pudddle about 4-5 inches deep. These boots kept me dry all day, all week, and I still wear them to this day (5 years later). They are versatile as well. I not only used them for all sorts of military functions, but after leaving the service I used them for daily use on construction sites, and in industrial complexes (power plants etc.). These boots stand the test of time, and my entire reason for being on this site was to purchase another pair, and send my old ones in to get repaired from the 5 years of wear and tear I have given them. They still are as comfortable as the 1st day I put them on. No complaints, Bravo Zulu on this product.

Comments about Danner Acadia Mens/Womens 400G Uniform Boots:
I bought these boots in Jan. of 2007 and I must say that they are the warmest boots I have ever put on my feet. If you are looking for a boot that will keep your feet warm in very cold weather, this is it.
