650 Last
The 650 last offers a sleek, slender profile with a more narrow fit. Boots on this last tend to fit those with a more narrow foot better than those with a wider foot. This ensures a snug fit for terrain and activities that demand support and stability. If you do have a wider foot, we recommend ordering an "EE" (wide) in this style.

Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two.
  • Consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear.
  • When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.

Free Return Shipping
Rest assured that if the boot you receive doesn’t fit correctly, we pay for return shipping back to us. You can order with confidence knowing return shipping is always on us.

Comments about Danner Acadia Mens/Womens 200G Uniform Boots:

never thought it was possible to become emotionally attached to a pair of boots. After two years of Urban police work the time had come to have my Acadias re-soled. After a miserable week in a non-Danner boot I felt like a kid at Christmas picking up my Danners. I had a smile on my face the whole ride home and an even bigger smile when I put them back on for duty. Once you have felt the American Made quality of a Danner nothing will ever feel right again. Thank You Danner!!! 5 Stars

Comments about Danner Acadia Mens/Womens 200G Uniform Boots:

During winter months I work in sub freezing temps 4 months out of the year, during my shift temps dip below 10 degrees. Durable, warm/dry footware is a must. I thought the Men's Acadia 200g boot would protect my feet from conditions.

      Pros:
      Made in USA.
Excellent traction, on snow, slush, mud, and other wet surfaces.
      Good build quality.
      Boots shine easy.
      Fit true to size.

      Cons:
      Not water proof, period.
No arch support, makes feet feel very flat.
      Heavy.
      Expensive, due to origin.
      Not breathable.

I purchased these boots directly from Danner. I was looking for a durable boot for use in winter conditions, being waterproof was a must. The fact these boots were manufactured in the USA was appealing too. The first week these boots worked well keeping my feet warm and dry. However, after approximatley two weeks of regular wear (10 hours a day, four times a week) they failed to keep my feet dry. My feet would become so wet in the toe and ball areas that I had to put them on the shelf and order another brand (no, the Danner boots were not damaged in any way causing failure). I don't know if Gortex was to blame or Danner. I do know the other brand boot (Bates® Waterproof and Non-Metallic GX-8 boot) I replaced the Danner with feature Gortex and have met my needs in keeping my feet dry.

I was lucky to have purchased these boots for half of the price advertised on this web site. Now Danner boots are shined and sit in my closet to be brought out on dry winter days or dress occassions only. Hope this information is of some value.

Comments about Danner Acadia Mens/Womens 200G Uniform Boots:

I am a Park Ranger in NW Washington State and I got these 7 months ago. I wish I would of got these boots at the beginning of my carreer 11 years ago. I was sure missing out. These boots were comfortable right out of the box and took no time to break in. I was surprised on how light they are. I hardly know they are on my feet. After wearing a light-weight backpacking boot for the past 5 years I thought forsure these boots would be heavy. I was sure wrong. I work 4/10's and they remain comfortable throughout my shifts.

Being a Park Ranger in Washington State I needed a boot that keeps me dry and warm. They have done just that. I have tested them by standing in a lake just below the tops of the boots and my feet have stayed dry. I have tested them on many of the park's trails and thay grip nicely on all types of terrian, Frontcountry and Backcountry.

If you are thinking about these boots verses some other boots, do yourself a favor and don't wait like I did. BUY THESE! I will never go back to any other boot again.

        Thanks Danner

PS--- Made in the USA!! another bonus.

Comments about Danner Acadia Mens/Womens 200G Uniform Boots:

These are the best boots out there. I am an LEO and I have seen guys go through many pairs of boots while I am on the same pair. After my second year on the force I bought a second pair to keep one polished (not a one problem with the first pair) and rotate them out. I have had to put a couple soles on them after years of beating the pavement, nothing I could ask more of these boots. I think it should be noted that I have bought seconds at the factory outlet (great deals) and the boots are still world class quality. I thought the boots were slippery on some floors so I had a different Vibram sole pattern (Sierra Pattern) when the soles wore out, and no more problems with slippery floors. I am now a customer for life.

Comments about Danner Acadia Mens/Womens 200G Uniform Boots:

Darn fine Danner! Well made and made in the USA. I am a corrections major and walk alot. The boot is a bit heavy after wearing a little less boot, as these are all leather. Up keep no problem and shines well. I would tell you to go 400g on the Thinsulate, 200g is not enough in cold long periods and 200g is too much for warm wx. Traction in the mess hall and blocks is not what I would like, but I will wear these boots for sometime to come. Supprised @ how many noticed the boots as being Danner's. No leaks neither too.
