Comments about Danner TFX Hot Weather Drymax Foliage Green Socks:
I am only writing this review because I came back to buy more of these socks and saw the negative reviews by some others who didn't seem to wear the socks very long, otherwise, who reviews socks!!! I bought several pairs of these prior to an Iraq deployment in 2007. These were the only socks I wore the entire deployment; even though I took several other brands to try out. I actually ordered a few more pairs while in country so I wouldn't have to launder them as much because I was only wearing the Danners. In total I purchased seven pairs. I have extremely sweaty feet, these socks kept them dry for hours on end. The arch support bands helped reduce foot and back fatigue noticeably. Since leaving Iraq I have continued to only wear these same seven pair daily, to include for the last year wearing them even while off duty. These socks are phenomenal and even with the steep price I will be ordering more now that after six years of almost daily wear they have all started to completely wear out in the heals. If not for the heals wearing through, I would still be wearing the same seven pairs. Great sock, great product, and great job by Danner on these socks. If you are looking for a lightweight, moisture wicking sock with good arch support, then by these socks.
Semper Fidelis,
Gunny

Comments about Danner TFX Hot Weather Drymax Foliage Green Socks:
I was given a pair of these socks by clothing issue because I mentioned I have abnormally sweaty feet. I tried them out for two days and this is what I have to say.... They kept my feet more dry than most socks. They are thin unlike most wool socks so they were comfortable and helped my feet stay cool. The only downfall I can see with these socks is that they would likely fall apart in the span of a few months. At $15 a pop I could not afford to be replacing multiple pairs every few months.

Comments about Danner TFX Hot Weather Drymax Foliage Green Socks:
I bought these socks back in May because they were the only hot weather socks in the clothing store at the time that I needed socks. I bought the olive drab ones and the tan ones. First of all, they were too tight and took forever to get on. Secondly, the elastic was too tight around the calves. No, I'm not overweight and I bought the right size. It is now November and I have had to replace ALL of them! The strings frayed on most and on a couple of them, they actually ripped. I am very disappointed in these socks and will never purchase anything from Danner again
